Welcome to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the oldest shopping mall in Italy! Impressive right? It is named of the first king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II. Building it took 12 years from 1865 to 1877. Under this super-chick atmosphere you have the change to shop in the most luxury stores or have a drink/dining in the most fancy restaurants in Milan. It is located right in the Duomo Square. You cannot miss this spectacular piece!

From ready-to-wear to haute couture, jewelry to bookstore, as well the bars and the restaurants it serves a big scala of choices.
And moreover it is a connection between the strongest landmarks of Milan, which are The Duomo and La Scala, with its own beauty and uniqueness.

After taking the entrance from the main door from Duomo side, as soon as you reach in the middle of it, under the big dom, you will notice that on the left there is a crowd and people are doing some weird acts. Don’t worry! This is a classical move that tourist do in following an old tradition. The tradition says that rotate on themselves standing with the heel of your right foot on the genitals of the bull mosaic portrait by the coat of arms of the city of Turin on the floor of the Octagon Gallery, brings good luck. This ritual, repeated hundreds of times a day by passers-by, quickly wear the image of the bull that needs to be repaired frequently.

In order to reach there you have several options, but the best way is taking the metro with the yellow or red line for the duomo stop and you are there!
