From the outside it’s not even clear that it’s a restaurant, let alone a good one. It’s still not clear when you enter in the large hallway, but there’s always someone present to guide you in the right direction: passed the kitchen and the waiting staff to the back garden, which is the restaurant. Although completely covered by walls and a roof in winter, the water fountains and the green around the tables remind you that you’re actually outside.

Trattoria Toscana is not a restaurant to go have a quick pizza or simple pasta. It’s an authentic Tuscan restaurant so you come here for the Florentine style steak or the seafood spaghetti, and with that comes their great selection of wine. The setting, the food and the wine make it a great place for a romantic, candle light dinner or a chill evening with your friends. They also do aperitivo’s at the back of the restaurant where they make great cocktails, but I would recommend spending a bit more and eating better in the actual restaurant.

You wouldn’t think so, judging from the outside, but Trattoria Toscana is full almost every day of the week so make sure you make reservations in advance!
